I would like to thank you for my Bombay Coffee Table with the Lift Top. My mother-in-law has a lift top coffee table and I wanted one as well. I looked far and wide, retail and on the web and came across yours. I chose it because I could stain it to match the furniture I already had. Well, when I received my table I was delightfully surprised to find how solid and heavy it was. I expected thin wood and nothing as sturdy and beautifully crafted as this table. I searched everywhere for a table that would fit "just right" in our kitchen. It needed to be small enough for the space and I was adamant that the table be solid wood, not particle board or veneers. Not only did I find the perfect table size at Unfinished Furniture Expo, it was crafted of solid wood and quite sturdy. Plus because it's unfinished, I get to match the stain to my decor vs.. trying to "make do" with a color I don't really care for...Choosing Unfinished Furniture Expo is like having a piece custom made for you at a fraction of the price. I wanted to thank you for the beautiful product. It was well made, sanded clean, packed to allow gorillas to kick it around, and it arrived in good time as per your UPS shipping notice.
Staining is staining, and to do it right takes time. As packaged, it was fairly easy to take the 4 main parts and do that job, let them dry and then assemble. Very easy.
Now that it is stained and in use, it is exactly what was needed.

I absolutely LOVED the quality of the coffee table/chest I got from you! As you know & saw from the picture I sent you, it was treated and put together and is BEAUTIFUL! The Hamilton Hope Chest is now considered by me to be an heirloom. It came well-made. The parts all fit perfectly, the holes/connections all lined up- not what you get in a lot of places nowadays. This is a true piece of furniture, a true piece of work. Well done! I love it. If I had room for more of them, I'd get them! And any time I need furniture, I will definitely check your site! I live in California and had talked to local merchants about purchasing a specific brand bookcase. No one in my area had them available, and I was told it could take weeks to have them ordered and shipped. I was about out of options when I found Unfinished Furniture Expo on the web. I was desperate, but had a very small budget. The web site was easy to maneuver and very informative.
I couldn't believe how low the prices were! I called the 800 number to verify that they could ship to an out of state address at the quoted price. I was transferred to Mark, the internet order fellow. It was about 10 minutes to closing on a Thursday and I was thrilled that he not only verified the low price, but also was able to double check that my items were in stock and could be sent immediately.
I was online within a few minutes to place my order. By Monday afternoon I had my order. I ended up paying about 25% less, even with shipping, and had my bookcase assembled, stained, and varnished well before it would have even arrived had I ordered it locally!

I love our wooden bench with a flip-top seat for inside storage. I had been looking for something like this for our entryway for quite some time and was thrilled to find your website. Having never before finished wood of any kind myself, I was hesitant to try. But the price was unbeatable
and the design so attractive that I thought I'd give it my best shot. It has been a wonderful piece of funiture, holding up well with plenty of daily use! I have 6 kids and we use this for some of their backpacks,

I ordered the Whitewood Queen Anne unfinished chairs from
Unfinished Furniture Expo. They appeared to be very nice quality in the online
picture, but I reserved my final judgment until after I'd received the
initial order so I could evaluate them 'in person." My order was
processed immediately and shipping came so quickly, I didn't even have
time to track them online with the tracking # provided in the confirming e
mail. On receipt of the chairs I was extremely pleased to see that
they surpassed my expectations for style and quality. Though I'd never
stained (nor even heard of) Whitewood before I was very pleased that
they stained beautifully and I'm now looking forward to receipt of the
balance of the chairs I need to complete a set of 8. I'd like to add
that all my e mail communications with UFE about the furniture and the
order itself were routinely met with immediate replies. As a consumer,
it is very comforting to know that even though I'm doing business online there is a human on the other end!!!! Based on my experience,
I recommend Unfinished Furniture Expo to anyone who wants to do
business a proven trusted website with quality products, good
